On the 22/5/16, I walked in to Riddlers Gym, unfit and overweight at almost 60kg which is heavy for me as I'm under 5 foot! I started out with a beginners Muay Thai class and from that class, I was hooked. Each day I would look forward to training and learning new things, as well as becoming a healthier and happier person on the whole. All of the trainers were so amazing at sharing their knowledge and were so patient and helpful.
After a few months, my fitness had improved dramatically and I'd also started to lose weight. The trainers are incredibly supportive and did everything possible to help me reach my goals. I also love that it has such a fantastic, friendly family vibe.
Over time, and with a lot of help and support from the trainers and my training partners, my technique had improved dramatically and at the 15month mark I joined the fighters team and since then, I have had two fights. Not only have all the trainers helped me with Muay Thai and fitness but have also guided me and pointed me in the right direction with nutrition which has helped me hugely with my weight. I am now comfortably sitting in the low 50kg range and have never felt fitter or stronger. Over the last few months I have been doing the HIIT classes with other members of the gym to help keep me fit. I really enjoy the challenge and push but also how much fun I have. Riddlers Gym and the people that are a part of it have changed my life for the better and I could not be more thankful.
