Barrie is one of our full time trainers, trading his plastering job in, to follow his passion. He is one of our main professional fighters with over 25 fights and holding state and national titles. He is highly approachable and loves teaching and passing on his knowledge of our sport. He is available for private lessons.
Riley is our kids coach and assistant trainer in our beginner classes. He is also an active fighter and has travelled and fought in Thailand, gaining as much knowledge as he can. His fun personality makes for exciting classes, while still teaching very valuable lessons in Muaythai, discipline, respect and confidence.
Caley has been training in Muay Thai for over 15 years and had 60 fights. She has established herself extremely well in the female fight circuit in the world. Caley has had 50 fights and holds WMC 57kg State Title, WMC 57kg Australian Title , WKA 58.9kg Australian Title, WMC Intercontinental Title x 2, 56kg WPMF World Title, 2 x WMC 57kg World Title and 58.9kg WMC World Title. In 2010 she qualified and won the Oceania Eliminatorto gain her spot in the Sport Accord Games in Beijing of which she won Silver. She is ranked #1 in the world and has fought top interstate and international opponents. Caley is a current Level 1 Crossfit Coach and is one of our Strength and Conditioning trainers.
Nicola is our assistant beginners and kids instructor. She holds the state title and is one of our main professional fighters. She loves helping people with their training and her soft side and friendly nature make her very popular within the gym.
LUKE AINSWORTH (BJJ)
Luke has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) for over ten years. A highly experienced 2nd degree Black Belt, Luke has fought and trained extensively both in Australia and South America. Representing the Academy of Mixed Martial Arts (AMMA) under Adam Metcalf, Luke has notable success in a number of State BJJ Championships over the last decade. Luke is a great instructor, with clear instructions, taking pride in making every lesson different. Our BJJ classes range from beginners to advanced. You don't have to be fit to start because the beginners class is designed to ease you into the training. The emphasis is on teaching you the correct, basic techniques that everyone can master while building your fitness at a steady rate. You are encouraged to push yourself as your fitness improves.
